A Family Recipe Turned

Pizza Ranch began in 2005 with a simple dream: to recreate the wood-fired, slow-fermented pizzas that founder Marco DiLuca grew up eating in his grandmother's kitchen in Naples, Italy. What started as a small corner spot on Chicago Drive has grown into Hudsonville's most beloved dining destination.

We source our ingredients from local Michigan farms and specialty importers who share our uncompromising standards. Every ball of dough is hand-stretched daily, every sauce is made from vine-ripened tomatoes, and every pizza is baked in our signature stone-deck ovens at 800°F — just like it should be.

2005

The First Oven Lights

Marco DiLuca opens the original Pizza Ranch on Chicago Drive with just 8 tables, a stone-deck oven, and a family recipe passed down three generations from Naples, Italy.

2008

First Expansion

Overwhelming demand leads to a full dining room renovation, doubling capacity to 60 seats. We also launch our first catering service, bringing Pizza Ranch to local weddings and events.

2012

Award-Winning Pizza

Pizza Ranch earns "Best Pizza in West Michigan" from Grand Rapids Magazine — a recognition we've proudly maintained every year since. Our Ranch Classic becomes a regional icon.

2016

Online Ordering Launches

We introduce digital ordering and delivery, making it possible for more Hudsonville families to enjoy our handcrafted pizzas from the comfort of their homes.

2019

Farm-to-Table Commitment

We formalize our local sourcing partnerships with six Michigan farms, ensuring our vegetables, dairy, and meats are grown within 150 miles of our kitchen.

2024

Franchise Program Begins

After 19 years of success, Pizza Ranch launches its franchise program — bringing authentic handcrafted pizza to communities beyond Hudsonville while preserving everything that makes us special.
